I was taking a video sequence to do some “Lucky imaging” of the sun with a Ha filter, when suddenly a plane passed in front of the solar disk. Normally, airplanes and artificial satellites in the sky are a real nuisance for astronomers. But on this occasion, the result is aesthetically pleasing. This is a single image from the video sequence.
